The Miholjice-Semenje ethnozone is located on the island of Krk, in the municipality of Malinska-Dubašnica in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County. It is interesting as an abandoned village scene that can be read like an open book about the island's past.
The zone includes settlements of the open type: several rows of three to five residential buildings and traces of many freely placed farm buildings, erected on open agricultural land divided by dry-stone boundaries. Historically, the settlements belong to the area of the Omišalj castle and the former independent parish of Miholjice. They are connected with one another by old paths and with the settlements of the Dobrinj and Dubašnica areas. Today they are ruined, but they have kept the spatial and architectural features of the mid-19th century. Their heyday lasts from the middle of the 16th century to 1855, when epidemics brought life in them to an end.
The zone is a protected cultural property, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code RRI-0368-1975.
