Ethnozone Seršići - Sv. Vid, Sveti Vid-Miholjice

The Seršići ethnozone is located in the village of Sveti Vid-Miholjice, in the municipality of Malinska-Dubašnica, in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County. It is connected with the Miholjice-Semenje ethnozone, and together they show an old rural village of Krk with stone houses.

The zone follows on from the rural area of the Omišalj kaštelet of the 15th and 16th centuries, and possibly from the time of the Croats' settlement on Krk. Such early dating is supported by buildings of small ground area, vaulted constructions and apsidal annexes for the hearth and chapels. The houses have outside stone staircases leading to a vault. Beside them stand stone farm buildings of rectangular plan with a gabled roof covered with channel tiles or plants. Beside the settlement is the single-nave little chapel of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, of Romanesque plan with an apse.

The ethnozone is a protected cultural property, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code RRI-0399-1976.
