Church of Our Lady of the Snows, Kukljica

The Church of Our Lady of the Snows is located in Kukljica, in Zadar County, in the Zadar archipelago. It is suited to those who want to see a harmonious Baroque church from the 17th to 18th century.

It is a single-nave building with an elongated rectangular ground plan and a rectangular sanctuary. It is built of regularly coursed ashlar blocks. On the facade is a simple portal framed on both sides by small, almost square windows, and at the top of the gable stands a bell gable for two bells. The side walls are articulated by two semicircular windows each. By its stylistic features it is counted among the Baroque church architecture of the 17th and 18th centuries, and by its harmony it is a valuable monument of that period on the Zadar islands.

The church is a protected cultural property and is entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-1570.
