Some three hundred metres west of the village of Stanišovi, in the municipality of Raša in Istria County, stand the ruins of the Romanesque Church of St Jerome. The place is of interest to those who look for small, neglected Istrian churches and their details.

The church originally had one nave, a projecting semicircular apse, a bell gable on the facade and a small porch. It is built of dressed stone blocks in courses of differing thickness. Roman stone fragments are built into the interior, and on the facade stands a roughly carved relief of the Angel of the Annunciation. The floor is paved with stone slabs, and consecration crosses can still be made out on the walls. Today the church is ruined, without a roof and part of the facade.
