School and Wine Cooperative Building, Bol

At the western end of the old Bol waterfront on the island of Brač, in Split-Dalmatia County, stands the school and wine cooperative building. Those strolling along the waterfront notice it because its volume stands out in the picture of the village by the sea.

The spacious building has an elongated rectangular ground plan divided into two wings, with hipped roofs. It is one of the most important municipal projects in Bol at the beginning of the 20th century. With its division of façades and roofs, its proportions and practical arrangement of space, it is a valuable contribution to public and industrial architecture in Dalmatia.

The building is a protected cultural good from the 20th century, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-5732.
