On the square in Selca on the island of Brač, in Split-Dalmatia County, the parish church of Christ the King dominates. Art lovers are drawn by the statue made by one of the best-known Croatian sculptors.

The church was designed in 1919 by the Austrian engineer Adolf Schlauf, and local builders and stonemasons took part in the construction. It is a monumental three-aisled building with a bell tower on the façade, in neo-Romanesque forms, with capitals modelled on early Christian ones. Inside is a bronze statue of Christ the King, the work of Ivan Meštrović from 1956.

The church is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code RST-1527. It is located in the municipality of Selca.
