The church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, the old parish church of Selca, is located beside the village square in Selca on the island of Brač. Visitors can see it as an example of neo-Baroque sacred architecture with brightly coloured wooden altars. It belongs to the municipality of Selca in Split-Dalmatia County.
It was built in the 18th century in the southwest of the square, on the site of an older church that is mentioned in 1633 as "Gospa na Selcih". It was completed in 1871, when a bell gable with three openings was built. It is three-aisled, with a semicircular apse and a sacristy in the north, built of larger ashlar in regular courses. The basilica-type façade has three portals; above the middle one is a rosette, and above the side ones a slab with a quatrefoil opening. Inside, stone arcades rest on piers with profiled capitals, the side aisles are groin-vaulted, and the middle one has a flat ceiling separated by a stone cornice.
The church is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-5876.
