The parish church of St Nicholas in Gornji Humac on Brač hides several valuable works of art, among them two stone triptychs from famous stonemasons' workshops.
It was built in 1749 on the site of an older little church of Our Lady of the Visitation. It is single-nave, with a flat east wall and a bell tower attached in the southeast, built in regular courses of stone. In the middle of the façade is a profiled portal, and above it a rich rosette with small columns and a smaller one in the form of a quatrefoil. A triptych from the school of Juraj Dalmatinac is kept, and another from the workshop of Nikola Firentinac, from the church of Saints Cosmas and Damian at Straževnik. A barrel vault with transverse ribs and deep niches on the walls give the impression of three aisles.
The church is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-4683.
