In the western part of the harbour of Bol on the island of Brač, in Split-Dalmatia County, stands the parish church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. To visitors strolling around the harbour it offers a Baroque façade and valuable works of art.
The church was built in the second half of the 17th century, and enlargement began at the end of the 18th century. It is single-nave, with a square apse. The façade with a pointed gable decorated with volutes is the work of Brač stonemasons from the Štambuk family. The entrance with a profiled frame and lunette has Baroque features, and the statue of an angel with Veronica's veil was made by P. Macetti. On the main altar is a painting of the Holy Family by Felix Tironi from the end of the 18th century.
The church is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-1866. The period from the 17th to the 18th century is mentioned.
