The church of St Martin was built on a hill between Bobovišća and Milna. From this strategic spot there is a view of the sea from the Split Gates to Hvar and Vis.
By its proportions and design, the little church with one nave and a semicircular apse belongs to mature pre-Romanesque. The simple stone façade carries a masonry bell gable with a triangular pediment, added in the 14th century. The space is covered by a semicircular vault without transverse ribs, and in the walls are wide, shallow niches. Above the altar is a Renaissance stone relief from the workshop of Nikola Firentinac, in which St Martin on horseback gives alms to a beggar.
The church is a protected cultural good and is entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-4331.
