Donji Pisk or Stara Voda, Ložišća

East of Ložišća on the island of Brač lies Donji pisk, also known as Stara voda, one of the largest water collection points on the island. It is interesting to visitors who like technical and agrarian heritage. It belongs to the municipality of Milna in Split-Dalmatia County.

The catchment basins are filled by the natural fall of water from the north. Wide access ramps with stone kerbs lead to troughs for watering livestock and to a system of walled basins. The structure was built in the first half of the 19th century, belongs to industrial archaeology and bears witness to the high level of technical knowledge invested in the cultivation of the agricultural landscape.

It is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-1873.
