The parish church of St Anthony the Abbot in Pražnica on the island of Brač stands out for a stone bell tower with an unusual finial. It is interesting to visitors because of its local sculptural furnishings. It belongs to the municipality of Pučišća in Split-Dalmatia County.
It was built in the second half of the 18th century on the site of a Gothic little church, and was enlarged again in 1885. It is three-aisled, of ashlar, with a square apse. Piers of hewn stone separate the aisles, which are covered by a barrel vault with pendentives; transverse arches rest on brackets. On the main altar is a Baroque stone relief of the Mother of God with the Child and saints, the work of local masters, and on a side altar a depiction of St Jerome in the cave, created under the influence of Aleši's workshop. To the northeast is a stone bell tower with a loggia, an octagonal lantern and an onion dome.
The church is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-4778.
