In Milna on the island of Brač, in Split-Dalmatia County, on the north side of the harbour beneath the fortified house of the Cerineo family, stands the parish church of Our Lady of the Annunciation. Visitors find it at the top of a stone staircase, and it is counted among the prominent late Baroque buildings in Dalmatia.
The slender stone façade ends in a gable decorated with profiled volutes. East of the church is a late Renaissance bell tower with a double loggia decorated with mascarons and a long pyramid, the work of the Bokanić family from the end of the 16th century. The church is attributed to the builder-stonemason family Macanović from the second half of the 18th century. Inside, stone columns divide the space into three aisles, and the vaults are decorated with stuccoes by the Swiss Somazzi family from the end of the 18th and beginning of the 19th century.
The church is a protected cultural good from the 18th century, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-4572.
