Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Svirče

The church of the Immaculate Conception on Pjaca, the picturesque village square in Svirče on Hvar, is a small Baroque building with stone paving and a clock on its façade.

It was built at the beginning of the 19th century at the bottom of a square paved with stone slabs, and the entrance faces east. It is built of stone in regular courses, the gabled roof is covered with curved pantiles, and on the axis of the façade is a triple bell gable with volutes. The façade is the most interesting part, and a clock under a small gabled roof was later added to it. The whole building exudes a restrained Baroque expression.

The church is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-4786.
