The little church of Our Lady of Batak, also known as the church of St Cyprian, stands in the Batak area near Pučišća on Brač. It is a small Renaissance shrine with a valuable altar.
It is a single-nave building, built of regular elongated ashlar, with a stone bell gable with a double opening for bells. The inscription on the lintel mentions the patron, the nobleman Ciprijan Žuvetić, and the bishop of Šibenik Ivan Lucić, who consecrated it in 1533. It belonged to the Šibenik diocese of that time, which shows that patrons and priests from the island were connected with the mainland. The main altar is adorned with a Renaissance stone polyptych with the Mother of God with the Child and saints.
The church is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-1869.
