The parish church of St Jerome rises on the south side of the bay in Pučišća on Brač. It stands out for its bell tower and woodcarvings, and the view of it is part of the recognisable image of the place.
It was built on the site of an older building from the 16th century. The Renaissance church was enlarged in the middle of the 18th century, and in 1856 it was lengthened, when it received a new stone façade with classicist mouldings. To the southeast stands the bell tower by Ignacije Macanović with a stone loggia, attic and onion dome, from the middle of the 18th century. The interior has three aisles, divided by stone piers and arches, with a flat ceiling decorated with stucco. Among the movable treasures, works by the woodcarver Franjo Čučić from the 16th century stand out, as well as the altar of St Roch from the 17th century, with a gilded antependium and a painting by Santo Peranda.
The church is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-4781.
