The parish church of St George was built on a hill above the harbour in Drvenik Veliki, on Drvenik, in the municipality of Trogir. The view from the height and the layered architecture make it interesting to visitors. It is located in Split-Dalmatia County.
The oldest parts are the sanctuary with a pointed Gothic vault and the central round window on the façade. In the first half of the 18th century the church was enlarged with northern and southern aisles, and the middle one was lengthened, so the façade became three-part. The bell tower with a loggia was built in 1730. At the end of the 18th century the building of a new monumental west façade began, attributed to builders of the Macanović family, but it remained unfinished for lack of funds. Inside are five Baroque altars of stone and multicoloured stone. On the south side stand the old and new parish houses, both from the 19th century.
The complex is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-4314.
