In the cemetery not far from Lokva Rogoznica, in the town of Omiš, stands the church of Saints Cosmas and Damian. For a visitor exploring the heritage of Poljica it is interesting because of the Roman stele built into the façade.
The church was built in the 16th and 17th centuries and so combines Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque features. It is single-nave, without an apse, properly oriented to the east, and built of stone and covered with stone slabs on two slopes. The vault is pointed, and the side walls are divided inside by niches; on the west wall is a stone holy water stoup. On the façade are a simple door, two square windows with iron grilles and, above them, a built-in Roman stele, and above that a square slab with a quatrefoil opening, a common Poljica motif. The façade ends in a bell gable with a cross framed by volutes.
The church is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-6415.
