Church of Our Lady of the Nativity and Cemetery, Tučepi

On the edge of Tučepi, in Split-Dalmatia County, on a plateau of cascading terrain, stands the church of Mala Gospa with its cemetery. It is interesting to travellers because of the old tombstones and stone remains of an earlier church built into the walls.

The church is reached by an enclosed flight of steps in whose walls are inserted parts of an older church that once stood here. The building is single-nave, with a rectangular apse. The façade faces southwest and is simply designed: a single-leaf door with hewn jambs and a profiled lintel, a four-petalled rosette and a bell gable with two bells. Around the church extends a medieval and early modern cemetery, and five tombstones with relief decoration have been preserved and are displayed.

The church is a protected cultural good from the 18th century, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-5095.
