The church of St Charles Borromeo in Okrug Gornji, on the island of Čiovo, is a small Baroque building with a few details worth seeking out, especially the old holy water stoup by the entrance.
It is single-nave, with a rectangular apse and sacristy, and its axis runs from east to west. On the west façade is a door with a Baroque lintel, and beside it one smaller rectangular window on each side. To the right of the entrance is built in a Romanesque octagonal stone holy water stoup, with an inscription cut on the outer rim and the figure of a fish on the body. Above the door are a simple rosette and a bell gable. Sources state that on the site of the present church there previously stood the chapel of St Lawrence.
The church was built in 1735 and is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-4381.
