Rožac Beach – Okrug Gornji, Čiovo

Above the well-known Copacabana lies another beautiful beach on Čiovo. This is Rožac beach, next to which lies the campsite of the same name. The beach is spacious, made of fine pebbles and well sunlit. In one part, where the aforementioned campsite is located, the beach has natural shade, but outside the campsite you will need a parasol. If you are a guest of the campsite, you can come to the beach freely, without any special preparation or luggage. When it gets too hot, simply go back and take shelter in the natural shade. If, however, you are coming from a somewhat more distant place, be sure to bring sunscreen with you, and a parasol if you have one. Water and something to snack on should definitely be in your bag. The beach is washed by a clean sea, and the view it offers is instantly relaxing. Here, those for whom Copacabana is still a bit too lively find peace and quiet.
