Villa Nika was built right on the shore in Kaštel Stari and is part of the summer life of the former park next to the Palace hotel. Today it is an example of a Secession family villa that has remained almost unchanged.
Dr Petar Kamber built it in 1902 southeast of the future hotel, and a park and beach developed around it. It lies south of the promenade through the park, right by the sea. The walls are of stone and brick, and the villa has a basement, a raised ground floor, a floor and a raised attic. The ground plan is basically square, but in places it is broken up by projections and recesses of the wall envelope. Unlike many similar buildings, it has not undergone major construction work and has been preserved in its original form.
The villa is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-3583.
