The church of Our Lady of the Rosary stands northwest of the historic core of Kaštel Stari. It is interesting as a large parish building that took a full hundred years to build.
Construction began in 1871 to a design by Vicko Danilo, in the neo-Baroque style, and lasted until 1971, and by 1939 the walls had been raised to the cornice. The church is single-nave with a rectangular ground plan and a polygonal apse, and extends in a north-south direction. A bell tower leans against the apse on the east side, and a rectangular sacristy on the west. It is built of regularly hewn bluish stone, the façade is divided by stone pilasters, and the interior is divided into three naves.
The church is a protected cultural good and is entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-3581.
