On the slopes of Kozjak, north of Kaštel Lukšić, stands the church of St Lawrence at Ostrog. It is of interest to walkers and lovers of medieval heritage because it stands on the site of a former settlement of the Croatian nobles the Didić. It belongs to the municipality of Kaštela in Split-Dalmatia County.
The church is single-nave, with an elongated ground plan and a semicircular apse at the rear, oriented east-west. It is built of roughly worked stone in regular courses. On the façade is a rectangular stone entrance frame, with one rectangular window on each side, and at the top of the gable a bell gable. The gabled roof has a wooden structure and curved pantiles. The exact time of building is not known, but a charter from 1327 mentions the toponym Lovrine, so the church is considered medieval.
The church is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-3573.
