The Cindro Palace in Krešimirova street in Split is an example of Baroque noble architecture. It is worth seeing because, of all the Split Baroque palaces, it most closely recalls Venetian models. It is located in the municipality of Split, in Split-Dalmatia County.
It was built in the 17th century for the old Split noble family Cindro. Four wings enclose a rectangular inner courtyard paved with stone. The building has retained its original layout to this day, as well as the main horizontal and vertical routes of movement inside. Particularly notable are the staircase in the vestibule and the spacious halls on the first and second floors facing Krešimirova street, which have restored wooden ceilings. The wellhead with the family coat of arms, probably from the courtyard of this palace, is kept in the Archaeological Museum in Split.
The palace is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-5712.
