Regiments Chirurgis Building, Bjelovar

The Regiments Chirurgis building is located in Bjelovar, in Bjelovar-Bilogora County, at 10 I. V. Trnskog Street. It is of interest as one of the buildings that bear witness to the very beginnings of the town.

It is a single-storey building with a rectangular base and a gabled roof, whose eastern gable façade faces the street. On the oldest map of the town it is drawn as the masonry house of the regimental surgeon. During the 20th century it was altered, but the volume, the structural elements and, in part, the spatial organisation have been preserved to this day.

The building is a protected cultural good. It is entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-2924 as secular architectural heritage from the period from the 18th to the 20th century.
