The Lipa Curia is located by the Dobra river, at the foot of the parish church, in the village of Lipa in the municipality of Generalski Stol in Karlovac County. It is a modest noble building with which a story about an important trade route across a bridge is associated.
The estate near the former market town of the same name, which was in the possession of the Frankopans, was built in the 18th century by the noble Lovinčić family. The curia and two single-storey farm buildings are enclosed by a stone fence with a carriage entrance on the south side and a smaller opening towards the riverbank on the north. Because of its position by the bridge on an important trade route, it is assumed that a guard tower once stood there, and then a toll house, which were incorporated into the present building. The curia itself is a single-storey stone building, of modest architectural concept and simple exterior design.
The curia is a protected cultural good and is entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-4806.
