The Church of St Nicholas the Bishop and the parsonage curia are located in Lipa, in the municipality of Generalski Stol in Karlovac County. The complex rises on a hill by the Dobra river, not far from the Lipa curia, so it is also interesting for its position in the landscape.
The church is single-nave, with a rectangular ground plan, a polygonal sanctuary, a sacristy south of the sanctuary and nave, and a bell tower above the main façade. The furnishings consist of a neo-style main altar and two side altars from 1900 and a stone baptismal font from 1769. The parish in Lipa is mentioned in 1334. During the Turkish incursions the church suffered, so a new one was built in 1743, and in 1848 it was extended according to the design of the builder Antun Stiedl. The curia was built in 1842 as a single-storey building with a rectangular ground plan and simple exterior design.
The complex is a harmonious and stylistically uniform whole. It is a protected cultural good and is entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-5677.
