The Chapel of St Roch is located in Novaki Bistranski, by the Zaprešić-Bistra road, in the municipality of Bistra in Zagreb County. It is a small historicist building that fits harmoniously into the surrounding space.
It was built in 1863, north of the old chapel from the 14th century. It is single-nave, with a rectangular ground plan, and is closed by a narrower polygonal sanctuary and a small tower above the main façade. The nave is covered with two bays of Prussian vaults on a rectangular plan, separated by transverse arches, and the sanctuary has a barrel vault with pointed lunettes. Because of its harmonious volume and its position in the immediate surroundings, the chapel forms a valuable ambient whole.
The chapel is a protected cultural good and is entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-5905.
