Church of St Anne, Završje Začretsko

The Church of St Anne in Zavrje Začretsko was built on a raised plateau above the settlement. It is first mentioned in a visitation of 1665, but its present appearance is attributed to interventions in the 18th century. It has a rectangular nave and a narrower and lower sanctuary with a rounded, shallow apse. The sacristy is on the north side, a wooden bell tower rises above the façade, and in the middle of the north wall there is a covered side entrance.

The entire sanctuary and the front face of the triumphal arch were painted by A. J. Lerchinger between 1756 and 1760. The furnishings include an organ and classicist altars, in whose niches stand statues from earlier Baroque altars.

The church is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-2219.
