The manor in Sveti Križ Začretje stands on the eastern side of the square, in Krapina-Zagorje County, and dominates the centre of the town. Visitors to Hrvatsko Zagorje will see here a late Baroque manor with a park, surrounded by old farm buildings.
The manor has two upper floors, and its main façade faces the valley of the Krapinica river. It is entered from the courtyard side, through an avenue of chestnut trees and a garden portal at its beginning. The ground plan is V-shaped: two long wings set apart and joined by a half-tower. It bears the features of late Baroque classicism, and the façades have simple, geometrised plasticity. It was built in several stages during the 18th century and belonged to the noble families Keglević, Sermage and Vranyczany. Particular value is given to it by the park laid out at the end of the 18th century. A granary with one upper floor and a single-storey stable have been preserved next to the manor.
The manor is a protected cultural good and is entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-1730.
