Church of the Three Kings, Donja Lomnica

The Church of the Three Kings in Donja Lomnica, near Velika Gorica, was originally a Baroque building erected in 1778. When it partly collapsed in 1862, it was not merely repaired but rebuilt anew and completely, this time in historicist forms, the style that was most popular in the 19th century.

It has a single nave, a narrower sanctuary with a rounded end and a sacristy, and the bell tower is set in front of the main façade. The interior is covered with Bohemian (segmental) vaults, characteristic of such churches. Some of the furnishings from the same historicist period have been preserved to this day, so the church is a complete example of 19th-century sacred building in that area.

The church is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-2354.
