Villa Bedeković, also known as the čardak, is a wooden house in Donja Lomnica in the town of Velika Gorica, in Zagreb County. It stands set back from the village road, and a path leads to it through the manor grounds with an avenue of old plane trees and ash trees.
The house is located between the road and the Modić-Bedeković curia, on the former estate of the same family. It was built in 1935 in the spirit of traditional building, which can be seen in the use of timber planks and the way they are joined. At the same time it has elements of romantic historicism, recognisable in the façade decoration, the joinery and the terrace for resting and dining, and as a whole it was conceived as a country house. The builder and owner was Dr Janko Bedeković, a significant figure in the state administration, related to the noble Modić-Bedeković family.
The villa is a protected cultural good and is entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-7354.
