Kerestinec Manor is located in Kerestinec, in the municipality of Sveta Nedelja in Zagreb County, southeast of Samobor. It stands in the lowlands, in the middle of a spacious park, and is of interest to visitors who like continental manors and walks in a park.
It was built in 1575 by the Erdödy family as a lowland fortress with four corner towers, surrounded by water channels. At the end of the 18th century the manor passed into the possession of the Palavini family, who gave it a Baroque makeover, as evidenced by the decoration of the northern façade and the two towers flanking it. After the earthquake of 1883, in which it suffered great damage, a restoration followed in which the courtyard façades were altered. In terms of history, architecture and the size of its park, it is among the most significant buildings of the Samobor area, and it is also important in the overview of manors of continental Croatia.
The manor is a protected cultural good and is entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-1720. It belongs to secular architectural heritage.
