The Lovišće lighthouse stands on the far western cape of the Pelješac peninsula, near the village of Lovište in the municipality of Orebić, in Dubrovnik-Neretva County. At this spot the Neretva, Korčula and Pelješac channels meet, so the location is of interest to anyone who loves secluded capes and maritime heritage.
The lighthouse was built at the end of the 19th century, is simple in form with a battered base, and is located right on the seashore, separate from the building in which the lighthouse keepers lived. That building was erected in isolation, about two hundred metres further inland. It is a simple stone single-storey building with a central projection on the north-western façade and a hipped roof.
The Lovišće lighthouse is a protected cultural property, and it is entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code RST-1424-1996. It belongs to the secular architectural heritage.
