Camping Glavotok Krk – prices, photos, beach and camp map

On the island of Krk lies Camping Glavotok. It is surrounded by lush Mediterranean vegetation and, of course, crystal-clear sea. For years tourists from all over Europe, and beyond, have come to our campsite. Guests visit us mostly for the natural beauty and the peace that surrounds our campsite, but also for the offer we provide to our guests.

If you visit our campsite, you will certainly enjoy the natural surroundings and the sunsets that make the evening hours beautiful in a special way. Camping Glavotok is located on the island of Krk and is an excellent starting point for getting to know the cultural heritage of the island itself and the settlements near the campsite. Get to know Mediterranean cuisine in the best possible way, and complete your holiday with numerous sports activities, animation programmes or walks around the island.

We are blessed with pebble and rocky beaches. Visit the campsite and enjoy the sun on the excellently maintained beaches near the campsite. Relax and enjoy swimming and sunbathing to the soothing melodies of the waves washing the shore and the chirping of cicadas – which are an indispensable part of the “orchestra” of the sea.

We offer guests accommodation in mobile homes, and of course on pitches that are set up and ready for camping. The campsite is equipped with modern sanitary blocks that ensure a high standard of cleanliness.

The walking paths around the campsite offer pleasant day and evening walks. If you like, you can walk to the small village of Glavotok, which is not far from the campsite, and see the Franciscan monastery of the Glagolitic Third Order and the church of St. Mary. The monastery was built in 1507 and is of great cultural significance for Croatian Glagolitic heritage. You can also choose another walking tour and visit the small church of St. Krševan, which is a monument of the highest category. Right by Camping Glavotok grows an old forest of holm oak, which is located in one of the reserves of forest vegetation in the Republic of Croatia.

Beach next to Camping Glavotok

The campsite stretches along 500 metres of indented coastline. The beach by the campsite is excellently maintained, clean and washed by crystal-clear sea. Along the shore there are actually 3 pebble beaches, of which the first is larger and lies in front of the campsite reception. The second, smaller beach is in the middle of the campsite. Next to it are the restaurant and shops that are part of our campsite. Here you can refresh yourself with a drink or dine while enjoying the view towards the sea. This beach is equipped with outdoor showers. The third beach is larger than the mentioned one, much quieter and the right place for a more intimate rest. It is located at the very end of the campsite next to the diving club. The rest of the coast consists of rocks and sunbathing areas. These are also places where you can enjoy sunbathing and the beauty of nature.

To experience a special feeling on holiday (of nature and sea), head along the coast towards the settlement of Glavotok or towards the Čavlena cove. You can find for yourself and choose one of the lonely and secluded white pebble beaches. These are excellent places for an intimate atmosphere, especially for guests who practise naturism.

Diving centre at the campsite

We mentioned that next to one of our beaches there is also a diving centre. You can sign up for a diving school or, if you are already a skilled diver, explore the sea depths and the living world below the surface of the sea.

Dive into the blue of the clean sea, observe and enjoy while at the same time exploring the interesting underwater world of the sea near us.
