Firule Beach – Split

This is a well-known sandy beach in Split. It is located in the cove of the same name, and is about 250 metres long. It is one of the two most famous beaches in Split where picigin competitions are held - Bačvice being the first. Every season the beach fills up with bathers, and in winter, just as at Bačvice, picigin enthusiasts come to the beach to play. It is graced by shallow sea water, which stretches far from the shore. Because of this configuration of the terrain, the beach is indeed suitable for the game. Take a look at the photo gallery of Firule beach, and this short video.
