Dardin Beach – Kaštel Stari, Split

The beach in Kaštel Stari is made of fine pebbles, has gentle access to the sea and is very nicely landscaped. In one part, natural shade falls onto the beach above the concrete platforms, while another part is in the sun all day long. It is worth mentioning that this beach also has an access ramp for the disabled and people with mobility difficulties. The sea is clean, and its colours shift depending on the depth and the strength of the sun. Along the beach there are cafés and other catering establishments. There are plenty of places to sit, and it is up to you to decide whether you fancy a drink or a local speciality. As the name itself suggests, Kaštel is an old settlement, full of historic buildings, and is well suited for walks while enjoying conversation and sightseeing. After swimming, once you have had your fill of sunbathing, don't be lazy – go for a walk through the local streets to get a better feel for our small town.
