Betina is a settlement on the northeastern side of the island of Murter, in the municipality of Tisno in Šibenik-Knin County. Visitors find a small fishing village here that descends from a hill toward the sea, known for its maritime tradition.
The place developed on a hillside by the sea. In the list of Šibenik parishes from the second half of the 15th century it is mentioned with 16 households. A contract of 1600 on the building of the church of St. Francis shows that it was built on the site of an older church. On one building a spolium with the year 1460 carved into it is built in. In the 15th and 16th centuries Betina was settled more intensively by inhabitants of Vrana and the nearby Modrave, who were fleeing from the Turks.
The ensemble is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-3543.
