Cultural and Historical Ensemble of Tisno

Tisno is a place in Šibenik-Knin County, and its historic core is situated on an islet by the coast beneath the hill of Brošćica. It is interesting to a visitor because it has remained a small coastal settlement with traditional building and a few houses built by families who had settled from Italy.

Rural buildings built of irregular stone, without special architectural decoration, with characteristic balature, predominate. In places the original stone paving has been preserved. There are also several town houses from the first half of the 18th century, built by families who had settled from Bergamo: Alborghetti, Gelpi and Banchetti. The Katunarić palace is also here.

A protected cultural property, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-3028.
