The church of St Mary in Blizna Gornja, in the municipality of Marina near Trogir, is one of the Old Croatian churches from the 9th century. It is interesting because it is connected with the estates of the župan of the Drid county. It is located in Split-Dalmatia County.
It was built on an ancient site, as a single-nave stone building with a semicircular apse and stone slabs on the roof. It belongs to the type of Old Croatian churches with rounded buttresses. In front of the church are the ruins of a westwork with the remains of a staircase. The interior is simple, with a wooden roof structure and plastered walls, on which traces of late Gothic consecration crosses can be seen. The space is divided by a restored altar screen. A fragment with the inscription ANUS IV reveals the ending of the name of the župan who built it.
The church is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-5041.
