The parish church of St Michael in the village of Dol, in the municipality of Stari Grad on Hvar, is in its present form a neo-Romanesque building from the beginning of the 20th century. It is first mentioned in the 14th century.
Documents list it in 1331 as a possession of the Benedictines of Vis, and with the founding of the parish of Dol in 1589 it became a parish church. During the 18th and 19th centuries it was remodelled several times. Ćiril Iveković made a design for a new church in 1898 and 1899, and the old one was demolished to its foundations. The new one was completed in 1908, with a ground plan of 21 by 16 metres. It is single-nave, with a semicircular apse and a bell tower on the axis of the façade; it is built of ashlar in courses. On the side façades are biforas and oculi. Inside are a neo-Renaissance main altar, two side altars in the transept, a wooden coffered ceiling, a choir loft and a pulpit.
The church is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-7002.
