The church of St Anne is located in the village of Dol near Stari Grad. It is first mentioned in 1226, so it is a fine example of a building that grew over centuries.
From the first period of building the eastern part has been preserved, built of smaller roughly dressed stone, with a smaller semicircular apse. In the 16th and 17th centuries it is mentioned as ruined, but it was renovated and lengthened to the west; the façade of the added part, begun in 1637, has the characteristics of rustic Baroque with a three-part bell gable. In the middle of the 18th century it was renovated again and St Anne began to be venerated. The sacristy was added in 1906. In the apse stands a wooden altar from 1763 with a triptych: in the middle is Our Lady with Jesus and St Anne, on the left St Barbara, and on the right St Catherine of Alexandria.
The church is a protected cultural good and is entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-7003.
