The parish church of St Stephen is located in Stari Grad. A visitor is drawn by the combination of Renaissance and Baroque ornament on the façade.
The church has three aisles. On the façade are three doors decorated with Renaissance-Baroque motifs, and the rosette belongs to the same style. The gable is semicircular, with Baroque volutes above the side aisles, while the central nave is taller and lit by oval windows. The door frames of the side aisles and of the sacristy are also Baroque. Inside, square pilasters with Renaissance ornaments at the corners divide the space, the vault is divided into bays with shallow domes, and the sanctuary has a flat termination. The detached bell tower on the southwest side was built in 1753.
The church is a protected cultural good and is entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-5555.
