The Šimić Morović summer residence was built by the sea in the southern part of Igrane, on the Makarska Riviera. Its façade faces south, and north of it extends a large enclosed garden.
The neo-Baroque house came into being at the end of the 18th or beginning of the 19th century through the remodelling of an older building from the late 17th century. It was built by the Makarska family Ivanišević, and through marriages passed to the Igrane families Šimić and Morović, after whom it is named today. The two-storey building is built of stone in mortar and plastered. On the first floor is a balcony on four double brackets, and on the second a smaller one, with brackets in the shape of volutes. The floors are divided by stone cornices, and the gable is decorated with volutes. The wooden intermediate floors, roof structure and part of the original joinery have been preserved; the interior layout was lost through division of ownership. To the west there was a colonus settlement, but because of later alterations it is not included in the protection.
The summer residence is a protected cultural good and is entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-6188.
