The Manor of Eugene of Savoy is located in Bilje in Osijek-Baranja County. It is a hunting manor surrounded by a moat, so a visitor touring the Baranja plain can see here a very recognisable example of Baroque architecture.
The manor was built in the first half of the 18th century by Prince Eugene of Savoy, in honour of a victory over the Turks. It is a four-wing building, and it is approached by a bridge laid across the moat, on the axis of the main southern façade. In the treatment of its façades, the internal organisation of space and the manner of vaulting it bears Baroque features. The moat and the bridge give the edifice an almost fortified appearance, even though it was intended for hunting and for the stay of the ruler and his company.
The manor is a protected cultural good and is entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-1622. It belongs to secular architectural heritage and is located in the municipality of Bilje.
