Biankini Palace stands in Stari Grad on the island of Hvar, at Ulica braće Biankini 2. Today it houses the Stari Grad Museum, founded in 2007, so the building is also a place to visit.
The palace was built in 1896 at the beginning of the Njive area, which in the second half of the 19th century began to be intensively built up in the western part of the town. It was built by the Biankini brothers in the Neo-Renaissance spirit, with a courtyard and a garden. It is a two-storey corner building with a floor plan of about 13.5 x 20 metres. West of it is a walled garden measuring 14 x 18 metres. The Register highlights it as an exceptional Neoclassical building of Stari Grad, which recalls the rise of a shipping family and the flourishing of the town in the 19th century.
Biankini Palace is a protected cultural property and is entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-6661. It is located in Split-Dalmatia County.
