Relax at Kovačine camp, under the canopies of old pines and centuries-old olive branches. The camp is excellently laid out, maintained and rich in various amenities for complete rest and enjoyment of your summer holiday.
On this occasion we invite all lovers of nature and the freedom of camping, and welcome you to a pleasant stay at our camp. Kamp Kovačine offers everything needed for a holiday by the sea, fun and enjoying the natural beauty. Besides the nature in which it is located, the camp has the advantages offered by the nearby town of Cres. Visit the historic town and explore it along the beauty of the sea that surrounds it. The town of Cres also offers many activities, so even the most demanding guests will find something to their liking. Visit us and spend an unforgettable holiday.
We offer a large number of pitches of different sizes and purposes. The pitches at Kovačine camp cover as much as 23 hectares, in a pine and old olive forest. They are located on a peninsula, surrounded by clean sea and beautiful pebble beaches. Part of the beach is concreted, so you can enjoy sunny concrete platforms.
A smaller part of our camp is equipped for naturist holidays. To be exact, ¼ of the camp is a FKK camp, specially arranged for naturist guests.
The camp has a total of 950 pitches, between 60 and 120 square metres in size. 250 pitches are intended specifically for FKK holidays, that is, for naturist guests. The pitches have a shared cabinet containing an electricity connection and water taps.
The mobile homes have beds for 4-6 people. They are located in untouched nature, surrounded by the rich scents of the recognisable Mediterranean plant world. The homes are surrounded by Mediterranean colours and the sounds of waves and crickets nearby. We offer over 200 mobile homes, placed in the shade of the pine forest, right by the sea.
The mobile camp homes have:
2 separate bedrooms for 4 to 6 people
a kitchen and dining area (fully equipped)
a private shower/WC
The camp homes are equipped with: air conditioning, bed linen, a set of kitchen utensils,
a safe for valuables, and a garden table and chairs for enjoying the time in front of the home.
Some of the mobile camp homes are located in the FKK part of Kovačine camp.
Special offer: Kuća Tamaris at Kovačine camp
Besides the mobile camp homes, Kovačine camp offers 13 rooms inside a building (Kuća Tamaris). Kuća Tamaris is located on the very tip of the peninsula (within Kovačine camp), right by the beach. Kuća Tamaris has:
a restaurant on the ground floor of the house
a food and camping supplies shop
a summer terrace right by the sea
The rooms in Kuća Tamaris are equipped with:
a private bathroom and WC, telephone, air conditioning and a TV with satellite reception. In the room you have the option of using a minibar.

Sport and fun - Kovačine camp
Within the camp itself we offer a wide choice of recreation, and the nearby town of Cres is also there. You can head to Cres and choose a sport of your own liking. Likewise, within Kovačine camp itself you have the following to choose from:
diving
beach volleyball
morning gymnastics for children and adults
massage
bocce
You can also rent a boat, a sandolina or diving equipment. If you wish, sign up for a boat trip, or walk along the natural landmarks around the camp and on the island itself. Indulge in the massage we offer, performed by certified therapists and masseurs. Finally, simply relax on a sunbed or a comfortable terrace chair and enjoy the view of the sea, with a breeze bringing the characteristic scents of the surrounding forest and the saltiness from the surface of the sea.
For children we have designed a special and very varied animation programme. Let the little ones play and have fun while you relax without worrying about their needs. Children can enjoy animation activities such as a language school, customs, drawing, or taking part in a small children's excursion.
Guests who want a bit more entertainment should go to the town of Cres, enjoy traditional open-air entertainment, treat themselves in a restaurant or simply refresh themselves in a café by the sea. There is a rich choice of discos for young people, and of course for those who feel that way.
