Meline Beach – Soline Bay, Healing Mud on Krk

Soline Bay is located on the western side of the island of Krk and is known as a therapeutic oasis of Krk island because of the healing mud found in this area. Many guests come to this particular beach for health reasons, in order to cover themselves with the mud, which is believed to help with many ailments, especially those related to the skin and bones. Soline cove is a natural phenomenon with a sea depth of less than one metre over most of the cove. Because of the shallowness of the sea, the sea temperature is above average and pleasant for as much as six months of the year.
