Mavarštica Beach – Okrug Gornji, Čiovo

On the island of Čiovo, in the village of Okrug Gornji, lies Mavarštica beach. The beach is situated in a natural cove, which also contains a small harbour for the needs of the islanders. Although it is in the immediate vicinity of the harbour, the beach has retained its cleanliness and natural beauty. It is suitable for everyone, clean and well kept, just as it should be. One part of the beach is pebbly, with a couple of concrete platforms suitable for launching boats. On the other side of the small harbour, the beach is adorned with rocks that give it a special appearance. Cafés and restaurants are located nearby. Here you have everything you need, but you should keep in mind that the beach has no natural shade. For an all-day stay, prepare well, especially if you are coming from some more distant place on the island.
